Introducing all new Hemp apparel from Ballo
Ballo’s core principles are sustainability, functionality and durability. Staying true to these we have developed a range of hemp tshirts, dresses and snapback caps.
A quick word on the benefits of hemp fabric: Hemp is naturally one of the most ecologically friendly fabrics, growing 600% more efficiently than cotton without draining the soil of nutrients. It is also the oldest- the Columbia History of the World states that the oldest relics of human industry are bits of hemp fabric discovered in tombs dating back to approximately 8,000 BC. Hemp fiber is one of the strongest and most durable natural textile fibers. Not only is it strong, but it also holds its shape having one of the lowest percent elongation of any natural fiber. Hemp clothing keeps you pleasantly cool in high temperatures and warm and cosy when the temperature drops. Hemp is naturally anti-microbial and mould-resistant it is the perfect choice for clothing and headwear.
Hemp tees and vests:
The fabric used to make the tees and vests is 55% Hemp and 45% Organic Cotton. Our tees and vests are made in Cape Town, of course, and feature designs by our design team.
Description for Caps: Our 55% Hemp 45% Organic cotton snapbacks are designed to our spec and make in Salt River, Cape Town. These snapbacks feature simple Ballo designs.
